After
you review our website, you first step is
to contact us to schedule an initial
conversation to learn if and how we might
help you. There is no fee, of course.
|
|
|
|
In
this conversation, we'll talk about your
needs and the scope and nature of the work
to be performed, and you can assess
whether we can help you. If there's a fit,
we'll schedule a longer conversation to
fully understand your goals, and gather
enough information to submit a proposal to
you.
|
|
|
|
When
you're ready, we will develop a draft
proposal to meet your needs. The draft
proposal describes in detail the proposed
scope of work to be done, your preferences
in handling the work, the probable time
commitment on your part and ours, a
timeline for moving ahead, likely costs,
confidentiality, and other relevant
issues.
|
|
|
|
You
then review the draft proposal, and
together we fine-tune it so that you are
comfortable that you will get exactly the
services you need. It is only after you
approve a final proposal that thoroughly
incorporates your goals and input that we
enter into an agreement.
|
|
|
|
Our
work sessions can take place at our
offices, at a mutually convenient
location, or via telephone. Each session
typically lasts an hour, with significant
"homework" between sessions. We together
determine the number of sessions, as part
of drafting our agreement to work
together. Fees are usually tax deductible;
please see IRS
Publication
529,
p. 3, or consult your tax
professional.
